Lancome Idole L’absolu Rouge Hydrating Lipstick Review & Swatches

In addition to her acting career, Zendaya has ventured into music. In 2011, she released the singles “Swag It Out” and “Watch Me”, the latter a collaboration with Bella Thorne. She signed with Hollywood Records in 2012 and subsequently released her debut single, “Replay”, which reached the top 40 on the U.S. She released her eponymous debut studio album in 2013 to moderate success and critical acclaim. Zendaya’s biggest commercial success as a musician came with her Zac Efron collaboration, “Rewrite the Stars”, from The Greatest Showman soundtrack in 2018.

Many say that it smells “generic and boring” but after smelling a bunch of different perfumes, I haven’t found anything similar? It’s very youthful , sparkly, and fresh. It’s both a little tart and sweet, I detect roses, pear and a little bergamot.

For the first few hours it dances around your body up to your nose. It provides the vanilla, pear, and rose, which are blended beautifully. The musk and jasmine are there to add a little something, acting like a soft hug. This scent reminds me of that very expensive bar of rose garden soap that I gifted to my friend because it just smelled so good. For me, it’s definitely a ‘after bath’ kinda scent.

I probably would never buy a bottle but I enjoy it for a juicy fruity, somewhat floral fragrance. That’s all I thought when I first sprayed this. Just damn – because I knew it was likely I was going to want a full bottle Estee Lauder makeup of it immediately. The notes on this are so harmonious together, a symphony for the nose. Weirdly, I do understand why people think of it like Givenchy Irresistible – both do have that pear and the rose notes.

It’s a versatile, genial perfume that has been created to be an accent rather than a statement. Idole wouldn’t feel out of place worn to work, around the house, at a wedding genifique or just every day – it’s easygoing and effortlessly pretty. Idole is diaphanous and clean, transparent and golden. It’s a perfume that smells smooth and expertly finished.

It’s also very soft and not cloying at all, which makes it great for wearing indoors just for yourself. This would be perfect to wear on a airplane or other closed spaces when Lancome makeup you don’t want to suffocate those sitting close to you. To me this smells like a lighter version of ginza by shiseido. A very feminine, nice, soft, elegant, floral fragrance.

Will use my sample but likely won’t purchase a bottle myself. The heart notes are heavy on gorgeous jasmine, mixed in with rose and musk. Then the woody base notes give this scent a beautiful base, sweetened with vanilla.

I would say it lasted about 30 minutes. I’m not sure if this is authentic. To the generation that dreams big, strong women; empowered and outspoken. To the leaders of tomorrow, daring; pursuing new horizons and paving a new path. “I always say my idol is my future self,” says Idôle ambassadress, Zendaya.

It’s a clean, floral, generic perfume reminds me of a daisy field in a sunny day. This is perfectly clean and feminine, a real compliment-catcher. I’m seeing people complain about the opening note and I don’t get it…the opening note is pretty great, imo.

I think I might order a small size of it because it’s definitely very pleasing scent. It’s not an original scent in the meaning of something very surprising but hey, most unique fragrances usually give headache to the surrounding people anyway. Idôle isn’t simply a chypre scent though. Layered at its top are notes of juicy pear and pink peppercorn.
