This is a much softer, more feminine, more sensual – less offensive version of “Womanity”. It has a certain salacious quality to it – but it is sophisticated, refined, and more sensuous . Try it if you like opulent florals with a soft green touch and a bit of powder.
It is definitely my favourite Ralph Lauren scent so far . I tend to love me some black currant notes for fall, I am excited to see if I prefer this to my old fall and winter love Si or not in the long run! It is warm and cozy but it’s not all softness and sweetness, like Si it has plenty of character, charm and energy. It reminds me of the scents he wears but still very feminine.
This is why some reviewers are comparing this frag to a 1980s vintage which used to have tuberose as a major player note. This tuberose is as sweet and buttery as a gourmand flower can be. Rich but not overpowering and very feminine, somewhat waxy white flowery.

It smells incredibly -feminine-, and a little bit like a room full of hairspray and who-knows-what perfume, in a very good way. I don’t know if I want a bottle of it yet, but it conjured up some very fond memories for me. This is all tuberose on my skin with a really sweet pear note. I do smell fruit, which could remind some of body spray or shampoo. It’s melded together perfectly with orange blossom and tuberose and hints of creamy-dreamy wood. A fragrance with simple, satisfying beauty, neither boring nor overly complex.
The flip cap on the bottle harkens back to the elegance of a bygone era, and I love the gentility of this touch. It is nice to feel that the finery of the bottle is well matched by the fragrance it contains. The other florals are orange blossom and a rose but to my nose the rose is also white in color.
After half an hour, sandalwood dominates with a peek of tuberose. From there, sandalwood and more woods with florals polo dress shirts wave from afar. Sandalwood is overbearing for me after half an hour. Beautiful but no bottle in the future for me.
Kudos is also due for the bottle and packaging; Woman’s are far more appealing than most department store releases of late. After all the fanfare and praises, I went to check it out. A voluptuous, womanly Tuberose full of va-va-voom is Michael Kors.
