Not a fan of tuberose, but this one is bearable, being more into the soft and creamy zone. Opens up tuberosy a la Tresor de Lancome and it ralph lauren t shirt settles immediately into a creamy, sweet skin scent. Then the scene is ready for the rose, it’s what gives that nice sweet warm feeling.
I get moderate longevity and sillage, which is a little disappointing to me. I will say that is does have a sweetness to it, but to me, the floral and woodsy notes balance it out, keeping it classy. My impressions; first blast of opening was amazing, it was a bright floral fruity smell. It changed pretty quick and became heavier not cloying though. Then became soft and disappeared quickly. It has a sharp opening, like your nose is going to fall off because the scent is really poking. The opening stays a while and when comes the drydown is quite nice and sophisticated.
As I reckon most RL creations, the lasting performance is average (4-5h). I am impressed by this, it is a well blended perfume. I could see polo dress shirts a lot of people drawn to wearing this. It pains me to say that I’ll be returning this fragrance and keeping the woman Intense version.
I also am reminded of Olympea by Paco Rabanne. Woman by Ralph Lauren is a pretty, very wearable fragrance that unfortunately doesn’t excite me in the slightest. It would make a good every-day scent, something to spritz on without having to think it over. It’s also very soft in regards to its projection so it is very unlikely that it will ever offend. Woman by Ralph Lauren is a clean, shampoo-type floral to my nose. It’s very feminine like the name suggests, however it’s not what I would consider a head-turning fragrance.

I loved Jardins de bagatelle from Guerlain when I was young, and even though Woman is not as sweet as Jardins de bagatelle, it still reminds me of it in a way. Feel like I have gotten back to my roots scent wise. I love this, on me it is a whisper of Tuberose, creamy yet fresh and very sensual.
