The Cuisinart Griddler Deluxe takes grilling to new heights and offers six enticing cooking options. It also has a reversible grill and grilled plate, and you can combine it with dual-zone temperature control and give you home chefs compete for control. Like the original Griddler, the Griddler Elite comes with two interchangeable non-stick plates — a griddle (hence the name) and a grill. While I loved our original Griddler, vegetables, veggie burgers, and other foods sometimes took well beyond the expected time to cook, and we’d rarely get nice grill marks with our food. The hidden drip tray gives the Griddler a smaller footprint and a neater appearance, but that also means it’s easy to forget about when it’s time to clean up. We liked that we could open the Griddler flat to have two different cooking surfaces. The nonstick surface is very nonstick, and even burned-on cheese slid off easily, making cleanup a breeze. The plates are removable, and we washed by hand and in the dishwasher and got good results both ways. While the Griddler isn’t huge, we were able to cook a full pound of sliced mushrooms on one side while we cooked zucchini on the other, and we could easily cook two sandwiches at once.
This grill/griddle has a large drip tray that sits completely under the unit where it’s out of the way, and it catches liquids that drain from the grill whether it’s open or closed. There’s plenty of space to collect liquids, and it’s easy to remove and clean. Since the drip tray is hidden, it gives the Griddler a smaller footprint and a neater appearance, but that also means it’s easy to forget about when it’s time to clean up.
We had to remind ourselves to double-check the drip tray before storing the appliance. Suppose you like to digital display with heating temperature control knobs. In that case, I highly recommend Cuisinart Griddler Elite, but you dislike digital display.
However, the Griddler has six preset cooking functions and dual-zone temperature control. The sear function can sear at 500 degrees F for up to 2 minutes. So many diverse functions from 1-impressive electric indoor grill.
Above all, the back sites of those drip tray removal and that body are stainless steel and Griddler deluxe colour is Brushed stainless steel, and colour is silver. Both the Cuisinart Griddler Elite and Deluxe have amazing surfaces. Each item has two surfaces of 120 square inches. However, if you use both surfaces simultaneously, you get 240 square inches of cooking surface, which is more than enough to prepare a whole meal. Anyone who is looking for a compact grill, griddle, or panini press should take a close look at the Cuisinart Griddler.
The model with a bit more features, the Cuisinart Elite, is also more expensive. Not only will you get amazing features like the many functions, but you will also have an LCD display and a timer. A more visible difference is the LCD display found on the Elite model. Both models come with buttons and knobs for controls, but the Cuisinart Griddler Elite has an LCD display and indicator lights.
Speaking of the timer, the Cuisinart Elite has a countdown timer for easier cooking. Unfortunately, this option does not exist on the Cuisinart Deluxe model.
