The Char-Broil Performance Burner Gas Grill might not have the most robust materials, Blackstone Adventure when compared to the high-end competition, but it certainly is easy to put together. Instructions are clear and you can have this up and running in no time. There are a few variants of this model, as the eagle eyed will have spotted from the pictures. The way you make a saving is that this, compared to the Weber and Napoleon competition, has a relatively short warranty on parts.
You can simply turn on the gas and fire up the grill, thanks to the electronic ignition system, which is easy to light and requires the simple push of a button. The burners feature stainless steel heat tents above them as well for safe Blackstone Adventure grilling and to prevent juices from dripping onto the burners and causing flare-ups. The lid-mounted temperature gauge enables easy monitoring of the inside temperature of your grill, providing better control and cooking accuracy.
We are here, however, to tell you about the Char-Broil Performance burner cabinet liquid propane gas grill. Weber’s Spirit II E-310 is a great-looking (we loved the bright red) three-burner grill that cooked food well, but not great. With an MSRP of $599, it’s a bit overpriced for what it is, but we really liked the size and design. This grill also had the tool rack and medium-heat knob indicators I missed on the Char-Broil Performance XL. The Performance XL cooked burgers in an average time of 13 minutes, 57 seconds to reach 145 degrees as a batch.
The rust-resistant porcelain-coated cast-iron grates are durable and allow you to enjoy the same performance each new cooking session. The side burner is an excellent way to further spice things up by preparing sauces or sides. There are top-ported burners that provide a wide temperature range while the lid-mounted temperature gauge allows you to monitor the heat. char broil performance Since the burners emit heat from the top, this allows for even burning. Another key feature of the Char-Broil Performance burner grill is that it comes with a large grease tray and catcher. The drip tray directs grease to the catcher, and you’ll find both parts beneath the firebox. The burners carry a five-year warranty, the lid and firebox have a two-year warranty, and all other parts have a one-year warranty. The grease pan doesn’t quite reach all the way to the back, so there is a little bit of a gap in the back where grease can fall to the lower shelf. However, the lower shelf is easy to access and wipe down, so most people won’t find it a significant problem.
