It’s both a stroller and a wagon all in one. I haven’t worried about the weight capacity. The wagon is solid and there don’t seem to be any weak points. Whether you want to push or pull the Pivot Xplore, just flip the handle without even removing the second seat.
Some parents might be scared of the 3-point harness, but for us it’s the only way. My kids despite the 5-point harness and we had to create our own versions a certain stroller didn’t offer that option. Generally, the Wonderfold is great for kids but not so great for parents. It is more difficult than other wagons to fold, stow and steer. Whereas the Evenflo performs well in all of those areas. The Pivot Xplore doesn’t have room for kids to move around or play.
These were the top two performing 2-seater wagons in our testing and we recommend both of them. The Xplore is significantly less expensive but the Veer has rugged construction not found in any other stroller wagon. The Pivot Xplore is the only stroller wagon we tested with a separate brake pedal on each rear wheel. All the other wagons had a single pedal that braked both wheels.

Wondefold has a zipper door, while Evenflo folds down allowing the kids to exit, so both can be accessed easily if your kids are crafty. You can easily clean minor spills and stains on the material with soap and cold water and leave evenflo car seat and stroller it out to dry. It has an extra basket, but it’s fairly small. Our small backpack-style diaper bag doesn’t fit and when I loaded my coat, toddler’s coat and baby’s coat in there I packed a diaper and thermos and that was about it.

I found that wagon mode is much better for going through grass, dirt, gravel or sand. While both wagons fold similarly, Wonderfold is just too heavy. We wanted a wagon that can ride on rough terrain so needed an Elite model of Wonderfold… which weight 47 lbs for 2-seater. It’s a pain to load it up into your trunk or lug it on public transport. Keep in mind that if you think that Wonderfold has storage underneath the seats you will lose part of it because the kids have to exit.
The two generously sized canopies are UPF 50+ rated, with breathable mesh sides and the ability to be positioned multiple ways. And there’s a huge weight limit on the Evenflo Pivot Xplore, at 55 pounds per seat. Even at max capacity, this stroller is easy to pull along, thanks to Evenflo’s wheels that make it easier to push and pull than most.
